As you all know, there were some big changes in the postal industry that were implemented in January. Amongst the changes were increased retail rates of .02 and metered rates that dropped by .005. Single post card rates remained the same. Additionally, automated/presorted letter rates went up slightly for each category but now the rate remains the same for up to 3.5-ounce letters whereas they previously increased after just 2 ounces and automated/presorted 3 digit trays have been eliminated altogether.
